Neal discusses her training and twenty-four years of experience as a home birth midwife in Missoula, Montana. She emphasizes an understanding of pregnancy and birth as healthy natural processes rather than illnesses or trouble-ridden events requiring medical intervention. Neal recalls some of the highs and lows of her midwife birthing experiences.
